Behavioral Support Services

Our Behavioral Support Services are provided by New York State licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). BCBAs work closely with classroom teams and supervise trained paraprofessionals who help carry out behavior-analytic strategies in everyday classroom settings.

BCBAs collaborate with teachers to ensure strong classroom management practices are in place to support all students. When a child needs additional support, BCBAs use individualized data to design targeted interventions that address learning gaps and promote positive progress.

Challenging behaviors are addressed through a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). This process may include assessments, classroom observations, functional behavior assessments, and the development of individualized behavior intervention plans, all designed to help children succeed in a supportive and structured environment.

BCBAs implement targeted interventions based on individualized data, aiming to address and reduce significant learning gaps in individuals.
