Augmentative and Alternative Communication

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) supports children in expressing themselves, whether they are developing verbal skills or using other communication methods.

AAC includes tools and strategies that empower children to share ideas, needs, and creativity effectively.

Our licensed Speech-Language Pathologists design individualized programs that build on each child’s strengths while fostering growth in communication and early learning skills.

Starting in preschool, AAC services help children gain confidence and the tools they need to approach kindergarten ready to participate, learn, and be understood.
