Since 1988, Alternatives For Children has transformed the lives of children with disabilities and their families across Long Island.

Through Early Intervention, home-based programs, and our Preschool Programs locations in Aquebogue, East Setauket, Dix Hills, and Southampton, we now serve more than 600 children each year with the specialized care and education they deserve.

Our mission is simple: providing the highest quality special and regular education programs and services to children with disabilities and their typically developing peers.
