At Alternatives For Children, preschool students with disabilities who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) recommending a special education class or special education class in an integrated setting may be eligible for door-to-school transportation.

This service can bring your child directly from home to the Alternatives For Children location they are attending, using a bus at no additional cost.

Eligibility and transportation recommendations are determined by the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) as part of developing the IEP.

If transportation is recommended, it is provided through the county, ensuring that every child has access to our programs.
