Make a Difference
Alternatives For Children
Since our beginning in 1988, Alternatives For Children, with your support has Made a Difference in the lives countless children and their families. Through our Early Intervention and home-based programs and at our locations in Aquebogue, East Setauket, Dix Hills, and Southampton, we have grown to serve over 600 children with disabilities annually from across Long Island.
To ensure our ability to continue to provide high quality programs and services to our children with special needs and their families, we undertake an ambitious fundraising program annually. I am proud to report that 92% of all dollars brought in through our fundraising efforts go directly to programs and services for the children.
We believe our success is attributable to the fact that individuals, businesses and organizations alike, have found a common bond in our mission and gain satisfaction in knowing that they are playing a vital role in making a positive difference in the lives of children with disabilities, and their families.
Take some time to read and find out about the many ways in which you can Make a Difference for Alternatives For Children. We hope you will partner with us and help us to reach our goal. However you choose to Make a Difference, know that all of us at Alternatives For Children and the students and families we serve are most appreciative of your support.
