Behavioral Support Services  

New York State licensed/Board Certified Behavior Analysts provide behavior-analytic services and supervise the work of paraprofessionals who implement behavior-analytic interventions. BCBAs work with classroom staff to ensure that Tier 1 Classroom Management Core Components are in place to support all students. BCBAs implement targeted interventions based on individualized data, aiming to address and reduce significant learning gaps in individuals. Challenging behavior is addressed through Multi - Tiered System of Supports and may include initial assessments, behavioral observations, functional behavioral assessments, and behavior intervention plans.
