Parent Training

Parent training, also known as parent counseling and training, is a related service within an Individualized Education Program (IEP) that helps parents acquire skills to support their child’s IEP implementation. It can involve understanding the child's educational needs, learning about child development, and gaining knowledge about special education and available resources. This training empowers parents to actively participate in their child's education and collaborate with school professionals for a more effective learning experience.
